It’s been a long year of wearing matching lounge sets, oversized tees, and the same lounge set for over a week. Now that places are starting to allow patio seating again, it’s time to get dressed up and ready to enjoy evenings outside! As you guys know, each season I create a 20 piece capsule that carries my wardrobe through the season. For this capsule, I wanted to add a mix of pieces that I have been wearing for the past 12 months, new brands I found in quarantine, and of course, classics y’all know and love!
Today on the blog I am sharing with you my 20 piece capsule wardrobe for Spring 20201. It’s a mix of classic pieces that stand the test of time, mixed with classic colors for spring and some trendy accessories. Stay tuned till the end to see how I styled this seasons capsules!

Essential Tops
This spring, I pulled a mix of light sweat shirts that you’ll love to wear at home or going out! Sweatshirts are also easy layering pieces that look fabulous with collard shirts or dressed up with nicer bottoms. I also did replace a few blouses in my wardrobe over quarantine, so this is the first season I am trying them out! I used Stitch Fix to try new things out that would fill gaps in my wardrobe, and it’s been a great way to shop for my wardrobe! Overall, this season I have lots of white tops, all with varying textures and looks. Then, I moved the colors into beige and accented layers with gold and grey. Finishing touches with my basic blacks, and viola! 8 tops consisting of about 40% of the capsule. Shop similar tops to the ones I chose below!

Essential Bottoms
This capsule has a mix of dressier pants, jeans, and of course a nicer pair of shorts to accommodate as the warmer days that come towards summer. As always, I added a healthy mix of variety in my bottoms to fit a range of events all spring long. We have the classic jeans, which in my wardrobe have been thrifted or pulled from Stitch Fix, as the perfect base to go with literally any blouse in the capsule. Then for nights out or for meeting clients, a solid pair of black slacks or my thrifted linen brown pants, but I linked similar fashionable ones from Petite Studio! Bottoms can really add a different vibe to any blouse, which is why I love the variety of bottoms I chose for spring! So 25% of this seasons capsule is bottoms so I can really play and mix and match with the blouses! Check out my spring bottom picks below!
Essential Dresses and Outerwear
It’s spring, so that means dresses and jumpsuits are definitely in my wardrobe! I absolutely adore a good dress or jumpsuit, perfect to show a little leg information the warmer weather! Plus, they’re the perfect looks to layer with. For a night out, layer the trench coat from VETTA over any look to instantly elevate any look. For a chilly day running errands, the cardigan or the denim jacket are perfect! Also, the Madewell jumpsuit is seriously the perfect rollerskating to running errands to brunch look any girl could ever ask for! Dresses are more occasional for me, hence the reason it’s only 10% of this spring capsule. Come summer though, I am a sucker for dresses. Also, outerwear is an easy layering piece and a great way to get multiple looks out of an outfit! So its a little higher at 15%. Check out my spring dresses and outerwear picks below!

What about accessories?
Accessories really will finish any capsule out and add the perfect finishing touch to every look. This season will be the first season I take a major deep dive into the accessories game! (Partially because I haven’t had an excuse to really accessorize in quite literally a year) So this year, accessories are getting their own full blown post!
Over quarantine, I really tried to up my accessories game. I got to research and explore new brands that I cannot WAIT to share with you! Some of them are fun and flirty, while others take practical and fashionable to a whole new level! Want to be the first to know about the spring accessories?
