Welcome to the new year! Are you ready to get down to business? Or are you like me and slow to the starting line?! I feel like the drag and lag of 2020 really tried to weigh me down into the first few weeks of 2021. This week though, is the first time I have felt a breath of fresh air and like I am ready to rock and roll into 2021! So let’s hop back into the grind and get it down!
HOw many planners did I go through in 2020?
Each year I always have a content calendar (usually the lovely Kat Gaskin’s Content Planner), a personal, calendar, and a journal or notebook that I take my daily to-do’s in. With 2020 being such a strange year, I really popcorned around. When I was planning major campaigns, like the holiday guide and Denton, I used my Content Planner to strategize the social media posts. I used my Passion Planner to *loosely* define what I was going to do each day. As well as try to help me plan out a routine amongst all of the 2020 chaos. I started to journal, but I have never been a journaler, so that quickly failed. Then I discovered dot journaling and my creative mind couldn’t wait to doodle and notate my days!
So all in all, I went through 4 various types of planners in 2020. I am somewhat of a planner hoarder and it definitely is the 3 in me trying to plan and strategize every aspect of my life and day. 3’s, you feel me?! Now they’re all tucked away in my memory box, to remind me of the year that was 2020. The year I was furloughed and on unemployment, the year I quit my job, the year I was quarantined for a solid 5 months, the year I made many leaps of faith. But overall, a year I survived.

How many planners I am using in 2021
With 2021 promising a new day and new growth, I have 3 planners I will be using! As always, my personal journal and daily planner, I am opting for a more grounding planner in 2021. I used The Christian planner last year, and this year I am using the daily Passion Planner to chart my days and journal through the week. For my personal and my work planner, I am opting for the passion planner, which will help me be able to see everything that is going on in a week by the hour! I really like this feature since I do so many things. Seeing It all at once has definitely proven to be the best tactic for me! And lastly, the Content Planner is always on my stack! It’s the perfect written planning tool that really helps me set goals for my social media content and business content and reach my goals!
In the rest of today’s post, I want to do a little more sharing on each planner, and how they can help you stay organized in 2021!
Planners I am Using in 2021

Weekly Passion Planner, Undated
This is the second year I am using the Passion Planner in my planner line up. I started using it last year after hearing Kat Gaskin rave about it being a great companion to the Content Planner. So naturally I had to try it! My favorite thing I think has to be the 30 minute increments you can break every day into in the planner. It helps me color code and see how much time I am dedicating to work, and how much time I am dedicating to “me time” so to speak. Passion Planner also has a great space to really set goals and plan your year, similar to the space in the Content Planner! This is a great planner for someone looking to have a single planner for their personal and work or business. It has plenty of space to plan, set goals, and keep track of your day to day!

The Content Planner, 2021 colors
When I discovered this planner, I quite literally said “This is what I have been looking for!” A planner that embodies the typical monthly layout, goal setting, and, my personal favorite, stickers to label notes and content! Little touches like the month to month follower tracker, monthly themes, affirmations, and what you WON’T do this month! It helps me see month to month how my socials are growing and allows me to keep my collaborations and partnerships all organized! Another thing that I love about the Content Planner is the overall aesthetic of the planner. It’s the perfect size to toss in your bag for planning at a coffee shop, perfectly curated to fit any aesthetic of an instagram feed, and an actual functioning planner!

Daily Planner, Undated
I have never bee a journal type, but I love to bullet journal and track things! So a daily undated planner where I can track emotions, journal, have a word of the day, and more. This is an easy journal-planner hybrid that I can toss in my bag and take on the go so I am always on track with my day! I try to start every day with a cup of coffee and filling out my daily plan, especially on my really busy day’s so I can stay on track! This is also the perfect easy on the go planner to help plan day to day and help keep my goals on track. The Daily Planner also has the goal planning and tracking in the front similar to the the Passion Planner. Perfect for those people who need an on the go planner and tracking without the journaling!
