How was everyone’s long weekend?! I know I had a chance to break in new skates, spend some quality time with friends, and started packing for Disney! This trip looks a little different though. With Covid still going on and flu season is upon us, ensuring my Disney bag is full of the essentials that I need to stay healthy is vital to staying healthy and safe all week long! Let’s jump right into what I am including in my Disney bag to keep me healthy, charged, and sanitized all week long!

What type of bag do I get for Disney?
The coveted “Park Bag” is a term coined by Disney goers. This just refers to the bag you will be toting around the parks! Disney does offer lockers for an additional fee for bigger bags. Small lockers are $10/day, large lockers are $12/day, and jumbo lockers are $15/day (but these are only at Magic Kingdom park and Epcot). Since it’s just the husband and I, we will be traveling with a fanny pack around the park, so we can carry the bare essentials! If you’re traveling with kiddos or equipment, I highly recommend a backpack or a shmedium sized bag! Check out my favorites below!

Extra Masks
You’re never fully dressed without a mask is something I have been saying since March. Now, I have a mask for every day and outfit it feels like! However, some of my masks being custom made or made of a little nicer materials. So, I needed to get a few that would survive the Florida weather! Which is why I can’t wait to start using the Old Navy masks. Each mask is dual layered and has adjustable ear tabs to ensure the perfect fit. With a variety of colors and patterns in perfect little 5 packs, Old Navy masks are an essential in my Disney bag! Old Navy also is one of the retailers that has masks for the whole family! So if you are going to be heading to Disney anytime soon, check out my mask picks below!
Wipes and Sanitizer
I plan on devouring a mickey waffle (or two) while I am at Disney so I already know I will be needing the wipes! But also, just to ensure our hands stay squeaky clean all day long, packing wipes isn’t a bad idea! You never know when you might need to wipe off a table, your body, or really anything. We also will have plenty of hand sanitizer on hand, because as I like to always say “kids are germs and can be gross”. Plus, if you are eating with your hands constantly, hugging characters, shaking hands with characters, touching a million surfaces at the gift shop, you want to be sanitized! Check out my Target picks for hand sanitizers and hand wipe options!
Liquid IV
Liquid IV is honestly the first thing I put in my bag, but I also like to save the best for last. 😉 The science behind Liquid IV is a daily electrolyte drink that delivers 2-3x more hydration than water alone. I love the Lemon-Lime pack, which reminds me of a refreshing lemonade by the pool! (BUT it’s actually hydrating you faster and better one sip at a time!) CTT is short for Cellular Transport Technology, which is a fancy science term for sending all the good stuff directly to your cells. There’s too much information for me to jam into one tiny paragraph, so if you want to learn more, check out the science behind CTT here!

When going to the happiest place on earth…
Sometimes you might get caught up in the moment and forget a thing or two at home or in your hotel room. Don’t fret! Anything you forgot, Disney will have. Just pop into any gift shop, or take a 5 minute trip to the Walmart just down the road and pick up snacks, sunscreen, ponchos, whatever you need to make your day at Disney a perfect one! At the end of the day though, just have fun!
