Bee’s wax cloth wrap instead of cling wrap
Bee’s wax clothes are great for any job that you’d normally use cellophane or aluminum foil for. You can cover bowls and containers or wrap up food. Best of all, there is no harmful plastics or chemicals. The beeswax covers are made from natural cotton and covered in bee’s wax. They cling to surfaces and stick to itself. in-between uses, just hand wash and let air dry. They can be reused time and time again, saving you from a trip to the grocery store. Flour sack towels instead of paper towels
Flour sack towels are great to use around your entire house. They can handle any task you’d use a paper towel for and much more. Flour sack towels can be purchased in large packs for an inexpensive price and rewashed hundreds of times. From cleaning, cooking, hand towel, wash cloth, or a napkin, just throw it in the washer when you’re finished and use it for a new task the next day. You’ll notice your production of paper towel waste dramatically decrease!
Reusable baggies + Bento box instead of Ziploc bags and paper sacks
Packing for kids, taking lunch to-go, or an on-the-go snack all use way too much plastic! Instead of adding another plastic baggy in the trash, switch to a reusable alternative. These are eco friendly silicone or plaster baggy can be washed and used again. This is a huge money saver, especially for households with kids. Bento boxes are also a great tool for packing lunch.
