Hello Loves and welcome to November, the official start of holiday season! This year, I have so much planned from a whole PAGE dedicated to holiday gift guides to fun events! This year it’s going to be big! But for now, we are going to start with a capsule of my own creation. While we have been in the Fall season for a few moments, better late than never right? 😉
Today on the blog I am sharing my MUST HAVE items from my fall capsule that I have had on repeat all fall long! From cozy sweaters from Old Navy, to sassy pants from LOFT, all these items have been on repeat for me this fall season. Everything in todays capsule is affordable, with a few exceptions of some all season items like shoes and bags. Stay tuned for the end of the post to see how I have been styling my Fall Capsule!
Essential Tops
Having the right top can make or break any look. For fall, I like to keep my tops classy, clean cut, but still fashion forward. So, this year my go to tops have been this amazing cognac sweater from Old Navy with blouson sleeves. My white boyfriend cut button has been my office go to, and I snagged this one at Target. Lastly, just a drapey camisole to layer with blazers and cardigans alike can really add a romantic vibe to this seasons fall capsule! Shop all my tops below!
Essential Bottoms
When it comes to pants, a good pair of jean and a good pair of slacks can really take you places. This year though, I also added a fun pleated skirt to the mix, to really bring home the girl next door vibes. My go to jeans are the utility pocket mid rise denim from Old Navy. Like seriously, I wear them allll the time! Super flattering for the girls who are shorties like me 😉 The slacks I have been loving this year are a wide leg culotte from LOFT, definitely my go-to fashion piece this year! Plus the nautical theme with the buttons are just super fun! My favorite pleated skirt is from Uniqlo this year. I snagged this when we were in Chicago and the length is perfect for my frame! Especially when I pair it with both the combat boots and the booties! Shop all my bottoms below!
Essential Outerwear and Dresses
There are countless ways to dress up your LBD this fall season. My go to LBD has to be this mock neck body con dress from Old Navy. It’s perfect to layer with the sweater, tie the button down around the top, cardigans, blazers, you name it! Plus, this one is perfect for the office. I always think of outerwear as tying the look up with a bow! So this season I am tying everything up with my go-to trench coat bow! You all have been loving my Vetta Capsule coat, so I found an EXACT dupe from SHEIN and Walmart. Both are really affordable and are giving me all the London Fog vibes. Essential Accessories
Now the time has come to add some spice to our look. Accessorizing your capsule wardrobe is key to pulling off a very versatile closet. Essentially, the goal is 60-75 looks in my capsule wardrobe. By accessorizing looks, what once was one outfit, could now be 3! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know this homegirl loves a good earring. So this season I have added a couple of basic, but with a twist, earrings to spice up your looks. I’ve also been loving my JustFab booties with a twist, they have fun laces at the back! These little details make your looks stand out and get those “OMG where did you get that!” questions! Now, I feel like fall is combat boot season, so naturally I am linking my fav combat boots from Steve Madden! Other essentials are fall totes, bucket bags, and a beret, Just to spice it up! Keeping’ it classy over here at TDD. Shop all my fall accessories below!
Here’s the full Lookbook!
This season, I am obviously loving a couple things. The color cognac, saucy earrings, and my chic basics. It’s taken me a while to finally figure out my style, but this season I am feeling like my true self in this capsule. That being said, see how I styled my fall capsule below!
