When in Rome

Hello Loves!!

I am finally back in the USA, and with a new title! I am engaged!! We are so blessed and excited to be sharing this news with you all! If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably already seen the ring. If not, head over to my instagram to see this stunner! Other than that exciting news loves, I wanted to share my fashion adventures I had while in Rome!

Rome in Red

When I was packing, I found quite a few pictures of women in red in Rome. SO, of course I had to wear red in Rome! For my red ensemble I paired a favorite thrift find of mine from Peter Popovitch, with my Primark funny long cardigan, Old Navy Rockstar skinny jeans, and my Old Navy Chelsea boots! The outfit was great for the day we had planned, we went to the Coliseum and the Forum right next door! The bright red popped against the greens and beige of the buildings. A perfect look for a Roman tourist!

Even if you aren’t in Rome, this look is perfect for a casual lunch date, perfect for going to class, or just wanting to wear something bold! My Peter Popovitch top is such a trending style right now, you can find it almost any fast fashion store!

Business Casual Look

So one of the days we were in Rome, We had an event to attend that night. So, I had to wear half of the outfit all day! This was also one of our days we had so much free time and we got to see quite a bit of the city! (Its also the outfit i was wearing when Fielder proposed to me!!)

It shouldn’t surprise you by now that it is ANOTHER amazing thrift find outfit! Based around my below the hip blazer jacket from Casual Corner, I also paired my H&M scarf over it, because it was chilly, my jeans are Old Navy Rockstar jeans, my blouse was a sheer Standards and Practices button down, and an H&M Crop top under the blouse! PHEW! Talk about layers! This look was so much fun to wear around exploring Rome, it was just the right amount of class and comfort, which is 100% me!

Casual Friday Look

So on Friday, we had traveled across the sea on a ferry to Greece! We got to go visit tombs and castles, all of which was breath taking! But for a large chunk we were on a bus, so while still being cute, I was also comfortable! This look could also double as a casual Friday office look for some people, or a girls brunch!

Does it surprise you when I say some of the outfit was thrifted anymore? My button down is Yves Saint Claire button down, my Primark fuzzy cardigan, my H&M scarf again (wrapped a different way!), and my Old navy Rockstar jeans! Keeping warm on a mountain top never looked so good!

Brands I Discovered

So as a fashionista, I love discovering new brands! I found a couple that are actually affordable here in the states! One is Bershka, think of streetwear meets European styling. The store was so fun, the prices made me happy (highest is about $60), and from what I saw the quality was good too! I’ll definitely be ordering from here!

In Greece a brand I did purchase from was Harris cotton. They specialize in Greek cotton and linen goods for your wardrobe! I loved what I saw, tried on, and bought! The prices were a bit higher, closer to $200 for some jackets, but I got something from the sale rack and spent about $45! I cannot wait to wear it in the summer!

Well loves thats my fashion recap from my exciting Rome and Greece trip! Hope it sparked some inspiration in your wardrobe! Until next time!

XOXO, D.
