Hello loves!!
As from a previous post, I’ve been in Germany for the past week and a half and let me tell you! It was amazing, breathtaking, relaxing, adventurous, an amazing getaway with my German family. And just like OKC I made a Vlog of some of our beautiful adventures in Hassfurt, Würzburg, and Berlin!
Okay, cool video! But WHERE are these places!!
So let me tell you, Berlin is your happy mix of European historical living with a big city feel of New York! Some of my favorite places were
- Zur Rose- BEST breakfast restaurant around. Omg.
- Photography museum
- Jewish memorial
- East Side Gallery
I highly recommend all of these places! Breakfast in Europe is like a feast always, and here when I’m home it is something I miss dearly! So getting to eat European breakfast again was great. I also love and collect lots of art, so the few art museums I went to were wonderful! I loved the photography museum and the history and paintings of east side gallery. Beautiful work at both places.
The nature scenes are from my second home Hassfurt. With stunning views, the beautiful Main River flowing through the rolling hills and forests, the perfect mental break and getaway location for any nature lover. This city also has the best Eis (gelato ice cream mix) around. So creamy and smooth, my favorite flavor is the chocolate chili!
Würzburg is the town where Franzi goes to the police academy. So the whole time I was in Germany, I was with police officers! Needless to say I was safe for sure! Here we went to a 90s disco party and it was hilarious. So basically in Germany they still play the 90s jams all day on almost every station. (Which it basically feels like the ultimate road trip all the time!) Their clubs have 90s themed parties once a month where you dress up like the 90s and go crazy dancing to all the best 90s American AND German music!!
